Spruce Up You Patio Furniture For a Super Spring

The time of year is coming to start getting the patio and yard ready for the spring time. I prefer to be ready for the nice weather instead of waiting for it to get nice before I do some outside spring cleaning. Now is the perfect time to clean up the garden beds, clean off the patio and clean the cushions that may have been sitting outside all winter.

A lot of customers come in and ask what can I clean my cushions with? My initial question for them is "do you have Sunbrella fabric?"  If so, Sunbrella has a very simple to use Fabric Cleaning Guide that lists almost every possible stain with the proper cleaning solution to use.

We just used this chart today for some cushions here in the showroom. There were some dirty footprints on the ottoman cushion. It worked perfectly.

If it is not Sunbrella fabric, I would recommend using a fabric protectant with a fabric cleaner. This will give your outdoor fabric a level of UV protection and a moisture barrier. We have these readily available at Leisure Depot. Either way, don’t wait for the nice weather to arrive before you start thinking about some Spring cleaning. Clean now and enjoy the great weather as soon as it gets here!
