Pool Noodles in December?

The other day I received a call from a customer asking if we still had pool noodles in stock.  Of course we did but I was very curious why they were calling around about pool noodles in December?  I thought maybe they were having a kids party at an indoor pool or something.  The response was genuinely surprising to me. Their dog had surgery and they wanted to use the noodle like a safety cone to help prevent him from gnawing at the surgery site.  I had no idea there were so many alternate uses for pool noodles. Of course we all know they're great to terrorize the kids with when we are having some summer fun in the pool. But who knew they could be used for so much more?

The more I looked for cool ideas, the more I was amazed by all the things they could be used for.

From keeping your boots from flopping over, to playing card holders, even faux nautical pole decorations!  The creativity and ingenuity of our customers never ceases to amaze me.  That's when I found some particularly seasonal uses.  Candy Cane decorations and holiday wreaths!  The wreath is my favorite. I have a couple pool noodles left over from the summer in the garage. I think I will put them to good use and try this amazing wreath!
