Fire Up Some Family Time
I love the smell of a wood burning fire pit. There is just something about it, and at Leisure Depot we have a very wide selection of wood burning fire pits. As a father, I worry about my 3 year old getting too close to the fire. Especially because he wants to throw everything he can into it. He learned that from me, of course, by watching me throw logs of wood into my old fire pit.
This last year, I bought the Springield Firepit from Leisure Depot. It is propane based, which means it uses the standard 25 lb propane tank as a fuel source. I love it. Even better, it is extremely simple to use. There is a slide out drawer for the tank, it has an electric starter with multiple heat setting options, and I can turn it off quickly and easily, unlike a wood burning fire pit.
I also filled it with some fire glass, which makes it look like ice cubes are melting. A very neat ambiance while having a chat with my wife. Plus my 3 year old can roast his marshmallows while we enjoy some grown-up time.
I do still enjoy the smell of a wood burning fire pit, but as a family man, propane based fire pits are the way to go. We have a number of options at Leisure Depot.
